"Patrick has been invaluable to me as an education advisor...He's passionate about improving our schools so that every child has an opportunity to succeed." - Governor Kathleen Sebelius

Friends,
Thank you so very much for your encouragement and hard work
throughout this campaign. Your support not only
demonstrates your faith in me, but also your commitment to
a first-class, life-changing, public education - for EVERY
Topeka child.
Ten years ago, I never would have believed that one day I’d
be surrounded by a talented and devoted group of people,
working with a Governor whose commitment to our schools is
an inspiration to so many, and that I’d be starting a
family with my beautiful wife.
But today, I have all these blessings, and more.
Today, I have the honor of being elected to the Topeka 501
School Board, joining a team of outstanding Topekans,
dedicated to the idea that a quality education can open
every door, for every student. And that every student
deserves a chance to reach their God-given potential.
Sincerely,
-Patrick

I
am so grateful for the overwhelming support I received
during the primary from the people of Topeka. To the
volunteers, contributors, and voters who made my primary a
success, I want to say 'thank you'.
It is remarkable to see so
many of my fellow Topekans take action to ensure the future
of our schools, our children, and our community.
Here in 501, our teachers
are dedicated, our students are bright, and our community
stands ready to give both the support they deserve.
With only a few weeks left
until the election, there is still much to do.
Putting up a yard sign not
only shows your support, but reminds the neighborhood that
this election is important.
Encouraging co-workers and
friends to learn about the issues and visit this website
helps spread the word that 'Woods for 501' is a vote for
experience and a vote for our schools.
And finally, making it a
point to remind everyone that April 3rd is Election Day, and a vote not
cast is a voice not heard.
Thank you again to everyone
who has been with me throughout this effort; and on April
3rd, it will take
everyone's vote to ensure Topeka puts me to work!!!
- Patrick
